Psychiatrist Nicholas Atanasoff: Helping Patients

Dr. Nicholas Atanasoff is a former psychiatrist who now specializes in helping patients recover from opioid addiction as an addictionologist. Opioid addiction is among the most difficult to beat, and Dr. Atanasoff’s clinic is designed to facilitate successful addiction recovery. He founded the Addiction Outreach Clinic (AOC) in 2007 and has since expanded it to seven locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania with multiple trained teams to help patients.

Since leaving his career as a psychiatrist, Dr.Nicholas Atanasoff has found his passion. He serves as AOC’s President, Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director, and he oversees certified addictionologists, counselors and physicians every day. AOC is headquartered in Youngstown, Ohio. 

There, the managing team of clinical experts work alongside Dr. Atanasoff to ensure the practice functions smoothly while providing convenient, realistic care to patients. Dr. Sharra Atanasoff serves as the practice’s COO and Executive Director, helping keep AOC’s large team of dedicated physicians, counselors and nurses on the same page.
